Description
Acatar Control is an aerosol medicine used to treat swelling of the mucous membranes that occur during acute rhinitis, allergic rhinitis, inflammation of the paranasal sinuses, inflammation of the Eustachian tube and otitis media. The active substance of the drug is oxymetazoline hydrochloride with anti-edema effect.
The use of Acatar Control reduces the swelling of the inflamed nasal mucosa and helps to stop excessive secretion. This action clears the nose, reduces runny nose and facilitates nasal breathing. At the same time, the reduction of nasal congestion causes the expansion and opening of the drainage channels of the paranasal sinuses and unblocks the Eustachian tubes. This facilitates the removal of secretions and healing of the bacterial infection.
Acatar Control nasal spray can be used in adults and children aged 6 years and over, and its effect starts within seconds of administration and lasts up to 12 hours.
