Description
Groprinosin is a drug in the form of tablets with antiviral activity. In addition, the preparation stimulates the activity of the immune system, thus reducing the susceptibility to infections. The active substance of the drug is inosine pranobex, whose mechanism of action is to inhibit the in vitro multiplication of human pathogenic viruses of the Herpes group. Groprinosin can be used in adults and children over 1 year of age.
When to use Groprinosin 500 mg?
The indication for the use of Groprinosin is the treatment of herpes on the lips and on the skin of the face caused by the herpes simplex virus. The preparation can also be used as an adjuvant in people with reduced immunity, in the case of recurrent infections of the upper respiratory tract. Importantly, the drug can only be used in patients who have been diagnosed with herpes simplex virus infection in the past.
